As of June 2022, Kodak has discontinued their Metallic paper option. Several of our lab partners previously offered this type of paper, and they are handling the discontinuation as follows:
Artsy Couture - Their current supply of this paper will last until (roughly) October. They are looking into other options, such as Fuji Pearl, to be used as a replacement for this paper.
Atkins Photo Lab - While there is no specific timeline for when their supply of Kodak Metallic may run out, when that happens they will be replacing it with another high end "metallic" paper that is currently being used within their Master Fine Art range.
Bay Photo - The paper will no longer be available after the end of July. Fuji Pearl has been added as an alternate option for a metallic-like paper.
Black River Imaging - The paper will no longer be available after the end of July. No alternative paper is currently available.
Carmencita - N/A - No metallic option is currently being offered by Carmencita through Instaproofs.
Digitalab - N/A - No metallic option is currently being offered by Digitalab through Instaproofs.
GTA Imaging - Fuji Pearl is currently offered as their metallic paper option.
Loxley Colour - Fuji Pearl is currently being used for their metallic paper option when Kodak Metallic is not available.
Miller's Lab - The lab has a large stockpile of this paper type, and they don't anticipate running low for quite some time.
Mpix - The lab has a large stockpile of this paper type, and they don't anticipate running low for quite some time.
Musea - N/A - No metallic option is currently being offered by Musea through Instaproofs.
Nations Photo Lab - Their current supply of this paper will last until (roughly) October. They are looking into other options, such as Fuji Pearl, to be used as a replacement for this paper.
One Vision Imaging - Fuji Pearl is currently offered as their metallic paper option.
Pikto - Fuji Pearl is currently offered as their metallic paper option.
Pro DPI - The paper will no longer be available after July 14th. No alternative paper is currently being considered.
Richard Photo Lab - N/A - No metallic option is currently being offered by Richard Photo Lab through Instaproofs.
WHCC - The paper will no longer be available after July 14th. No alternative paper is currently being considered.
