After your images have finished uploading, the system needs to process the images and get them ready for viewing. Normally this happens fairly quickly (within just a minute or two), but if we are experiencing a high volume of concurrent uploads the processing can sometimes take up to 30 minutes or more.
When you have images in the processing queue, a processing counter is displayed at the top of your gallery list. This counter updates in real-time, and when your last images have been processed the counter will disappear from the top of the page.
Please note: Images are added to the processing queue in the order that we receive them. This means that regardless of whether you uploaded 1 image or 500 images, the time it takes to start processing your images would potentially be the same. For example, if there are 3,000 other images already in the processing queue, adding 1 image will put that image into position 3,001 and it could take several minutes for the queue to make its way to your image.
