Have a video you'd like to display within your gallery? No problem! Videos can be added to either your gallery as a whole, or to individual categories within the gallery.
Here's how it works:
Attaching a Gallery Video
- Upload the video to your favorite video service (such as vimeo, smartslides, youtube, animoto, facebook, etc.).
- Copy the embed code* for the video from wherever you uploaded it.
- Navigate to the Photos » Galleries page within your Instaproofs account.
- Click on the name of your gallery.
- Scroll to the preference labeled Gallery Video.
- Paste the embed code* into the Category Video box and click Save.
* Please note: The video embed code must start with '<iframe' in order for the video to be linked and displayed within your gallery and/or category. If your embed code starts with something other than <iframe, use only the iframe portion of the code (from <iframe to </iframe>).
Attaching a Category Video
- Upload the video to your favorite video service (such as vimeo, smartslides, youtube, animoto, facebook, etc.).
- Copy the embed code* for the video from wherever you uploaded it.
- From the main menu, navigate to the Photos » Galleries page.
- Locate your gallery and click on Photos » Manage Categories.
- Click on the edit icon for the category you'd like to add the video to, and then click Settings.
- Paste the embed code* into the Category Video box and click Save.
* Please note: The video embed code must start with '<iframe' in order for the video to be linked and displayed within your gallery and/or category. If your embed code starts with something other than <iframe, use only the iframe portion of the code (from <iframe to </iframe>).
How Will Your Clients See It?
Your clients will see the video at the top of their gallery, or at the top of the category containing the video. Clicking the play button will allow them to view the video.
